Uninstall AHCI driver (standard windows one) and reboot to reinstall driver - no difference i figured, before storing anythign on it, i should check if any firmware updates are available, and there are.When I try to install Windows 10, the installation software don't recognize my SSD, I have a same windows as this one : I can see the SSD from the BIOS without any trouble. I cant email them stuff as they reject my Hotmail account as SPAM! so had to use twitter support on a 24 hour turnaround - but basically they have nothing to offer. 9 I have a problem with a SSD (Crucial BX100) bought last week and Windows 10 install. I could view the drive, but immediately after viewing it would disappear from the drive list in CSE (but was still fully operational in windows). Launched Crucial Storage Exec (CSE) and it stated that the drive had a firware error. Planned to move the 500GB into Son's PC as he needed some additional storage. I have 3 Crucial drives in my PC, 1TB NVME, 1TB MX500 SATA and 500GB MX500 SATA. Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar.
